Iberdrola España inaugurates Spain's largest energy storage battery, with a capacity of 120 megawatt-hours, at the Campo Arañuelo complex (Cáceres)

  • The project includes two LFP lithium-ion battery modules, each with a capacity of approximately 60 megawatt-hours, connected to the existing Campo Arañuelo I and II solar power plants
  • The facility allows for the storage of part of the solar energy generated, shifting its use to times of greater need for the power grid and improving the integration of renewables
