Labraza wind farm, co-owned by Iberdrola España, reaches major milestone with arrival of first turbine blades

  • The Labraza renewable energy project, developed by Iberdrola España and the Basque Energy Agency (EVE), represents an investment of €56 million.
  • Labraza is the first wind farm to be built in the Basque Country in the last 20 years. 
  • Once operational, the Labraza wind farm will generate 99,679 MWh of renewable electricity each year, enough to supply 30,000 homes, while preventing the emission of 16,300 tonnes of CO₂ annually
