Training for Firefighters in Valladolid in partnership with Iberdrola España

I-DE, Iberdrola España's distribution company, within the framework of a partnership established with the emergency line 112, with trainers from technical units and its prevention staff, gave a technical workshop to the Valladolid Provincial Council Fire Department on the risks and safety measures needed for the work they may have to do in the event of an emergency or incident in electrical installations or in their vicinity.

The training, which was attended by 34 members of the Fire Brigade, distributed over two days, explained how to identify an electrical installation, its topology, basic concepts of electricity, the effects of an electrical current on the human body, risks and prevention when working in electrical installations and possible actions to be taken in or around them.

This training, organised by i-DE and the government of Valladolid, was inaugurated by the Director General of Civil Protection of the Castilla and León government, Irene Cortés, the director of i-DE in Castilla and León, Óscar Villanueva, the director of the training centre of the government of Valladolid, Ana de Dios, and the Iberdrola España representative in the region, Miguel Calvo. The training was given by Óscar Pablos and Adrián Carbajo, from the i-DE business.

With this type of initiative, the company once again demonstrates its commitment to training, prevention and the responsibilities that derive from it, with the ultimate aim of making the state security forces aware of risks that are invisible to the untrained eye.
