Hydroelectric power

With an installed capacity of more than 11,000 MW across more than 120 hydroelectric plants in Spain, the company supplies nearly eight million homes. Furthermore, with energy storage technologies, such as pumped-storage plants and batteries, Iberdrola España brings greater flexibility to the electricity system.

Nuclear energy

Nuclear energy generates nearly 20% of the electricity in Spain, serving as a key element in the electricity system both as a generation source and as a guarantee of stability.
