The mayor of Navalmoral de la Mata, Enrique Hueso, visits the customer service office of Iberdrola España in the municipality

Iberdrola España renovated its customer service office in Navalmoral de la Mata to expand and improve the services for all customers of the energy company, as well as offering a place for personalised advising for both households and businesses.

The premises have new furniture, a more accessible layout and better lighting, as well as other improvements, and were visited this morning by the mayor of Navalmoral de la Mata, Enrique Hueso.

This office, located at Antonio Concha 43, offers personalised recommendations on the electricity and gas plans that best suit the needs of each customer, as well as on new energy services, such as the solar communities that have been set up in the city.

Advice will also be offered on self-consumption, charging points for electric vehicles and their installation in homes, air conditioning, aerothermal energy and energy rehabilitation and services such as the Smart Assistant, which allows you to control and save on consumption. The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Eight solar communities in Navalmoral de la Mata for 1,200 families

In Navalmoral de la Mata, eight solar communities that have been set up in the city are also open for business, allowing more than 1,275 families to benefit from lower electricity bills and giving them access to renewable self-consumption without the need to have their own installation or to make any investment.

In total, these communities have more than 1,500 solar panels with a total of 704 kWp and an annual generation of 1,018 MWh, which will mean preventing the emission of more than 200 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.  These eight solar communities are located on the roofs of different buildings in the city, from condos to industrial buildings, spare parts shops and metal carpentry businesses.

Charla informativa en el Teatro Municipal y a pie de calle

Next week, on 11, 12 and 13 June, an informational desk will be set up at street level to explain how these solar communities work and how the residents of Navalmoral de la Mata can benefit from them. It will be on Urbano González Serrano street from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

With this self-consumption formula, any customer within a radius of 2 km from the installation can join and use local green energy without the need to have solar panels installed on their own home.
