Alphabet (BMW) teams up with Iberdrola España to further public charging with its customers

  • This is the first agreement that Iberdrola España has signed with a leasing company for a public recharging project

Iberdrola España's public charging points for electric vehicles

Alphabet, BMW Group's leasing and corporate mobility company, and Iberdrola España, a leader in charging infrastructure in Spain, have signed an agreement to conitnue to push for the adoption of electric mobility and offering comprehensive solutions, providing access to electric vehicle charging. This is the first agreement that Iberdrola España has signed with a leasing company for a public charging project and will benefit Alphabet's customers in its charging network.

The project, which is another step forward in Alphabet's commitment to push for the adoption of electric vehicles, will allow its customers to benefit from special conditions when using Iberdrola España's extensive network, available throughout Spain. These chargers are characterised by using energy that is guaranteed to be 100% renewable, contributing to more sustainable mobility.
 

The agreement will provide access to the most important points along Iberdrola España's public charging network, the most extensive in Spain, with more than 9,000 charging points, including more than 2,500 fast and ultra-fast charging points. Iberdrola España's network stands out for its capillarity and the power of its chargers. Thanks to this partnership with Iberdrola España, Alphabet's customers will enjoy significant discounts and numerous advantages for using the energy company's electric recharging system.

 

This agreement is another step forward in Spain's energy independence strategy and will improve air quality in the country.
