We are striving to ensure a fair, transparent and ethical value chain, involving our suppliers from the very first point of contact with the Group, always with a proactive attitude towards their needs and supporting them in developing new capabilities.

Iberdrola España's supplier evaluation model

At Iberdrola España, we are committed to ensuring that 85% of our key partner companies are subject to sustainability policies and standards by 2025. To achieve this, we are using a supplier evaluation model based on various sustainability criteria, designed to assess corporate responsibility across three areas: environmental, social and governance.

We take into account 43 factors to measure the commitment of Iberdrola España’s strategic suppliers. Additionally, we provide tailored improvement plans to those suppliers that do not yet meet the required sustainability levels, offering resources to help them enhance their performance.
