Iberdrola Group brings together the company's management team at their traditional gathering coinciding with the festivities in the capital of Biscay

Iberdrola Group Executive Chairman Ignacio Galán met today in Bilbao with the company's management team at their traditional meeting to mark Bilbao's Aste Nagusia festival. Executive Chairman Galán congratulated the people of Bilbao on their Semana Grande festivities and reaffirmed the Basque roots of the company, which will celebrate its 125th anniversary next year.

Thanks to its international growth, Iberdrola Group is increasing its role as a driving force in the Basque Country's economy. Iberdrola's economic impact in the Basque Country in 2024 exceeded €3.5B, reaching a total contribution of more than €11B to the Basque economy over the last three years. Iberdrola contributed nearly €800M in 2024 to the Basque Country's treasury, up 15%, and made purchases worth more than €2B from more than 520 Basque suppliers.
