Iberdrola España today opened a new customer service office in Villafranca de los Barros, Extremadura to expand and improve the services it offers all of the power company's customers, as well as to provide a space to give personalised advice to both individuals and businesses.

The premises feature modern furnishings and an accessible layout. This morning, they were visited by the mayor of Villafranca de los Barros, Francisco Jiménez Araya, who was given a tour of the new offices.

This office, located at 24 Cervantes Street on street level offers personalised recommendations on the electricity and gas plans that best suit each customer's needs, as well as on new energy services, such as the solar communities that have been installed in the city.

Advice will also be offered on self-consumption, charging points and installing them at home, air conditioning, aerothermal and energy rehabilitation and services such as the Smart Assistant, which help you control and save on consumption. Hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Three solar communities in Villafranca de los Barros for around 600 families

In Villafranca de los Barros, three solar communities are also being marketed. These have been installed in the city, allowing around 600 families to benefit from a discount off their electricity bills and to access renewable self-consumption without the need for their own installation or any investment on their part.

In total, these communities have more than 700 solar panels with a total power of 326.9 kWp and an annual generation of 454 MWh, which will prevent the release of more than 91 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere, equivalent to 3,592 trees.

With this self-consumption formula, any customer located within 2 km of the installation can sign up and use green, local energy without having to install solar panels on their own home.
