Social Commitment in Spain

Creating value, progress and well-being

At Iberdrola España, we work to strengthen our social dividend and to generate more value in those communities in which we are present.
In line with compliance with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), Iberdrola España is committed to society and we do so at all levels, with clear support for diversity and inclusion within the company. To do this, we have projects such as the STEM Women Chair, which aims to include more women in a historically male sector such as the fields of science and technology.

Through Fundación Iberdrola España, we also contribute to the world of culture, with significant support for the dissemination of art. With this aim, we constantly support new forms of artistic expression and the restoration of Spain's historical heritage.

Women's sports

At Iberdrola España, we promote women's sports and advocate for gender equality through sports initiatives and the Iberdrola Supera Awards, which recognize initiatives working towards gender equality in Spain.

Art and culture

We support, through sponsorship and outreach, new forms of artistic expression and the restoration of historical heritage in Spain, and we have the largest space dedicated to sustainable leisure and culture: Iberdrola Music.

Corporate volunteering

Thousands of employees participate in our Corporate Volunteering Programme through participation in social projects that promote care for the environment and improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups.

Diversity and inclusion

We work to generate more value in the communities where we are present, prioritizing diversity and inclusion and implementing measures to move towards a fairer and more equitable society.
