Iberdrola España has obtained the web accessibility certification awarded by TOTHOMweb, a company accredited by ENAC (Spanish National Accreditation Body) to assess digital accessibility on websites. The certification was granted following an audit based on the UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard, which establishes accessibility requirements for products and services within the framework of European legislation.

This recognition certifies the progress made by Iberdrola España in both its corporate website and the design system that underpins it, reinforcing the company’s commitment to a more inclusive, accessible and consistent digital experience for all users, including people with disabilities or different access needs.

Obtaining the certification forms part of the company’s continuous improvement approach in the field of web accessibility. Iberdrola España has integrated accessibility as one of the pillars of its digital strategy, with the aim of facilitating access to information and reducing barriers to navigation. The audit included a detailed review of the components of the corporate website to assess their compliance with the standards established by European regulations.

Iberdrola España has also integrated the Audima player across its website, a platform specialised in digital accessibility that converts written content into audio using a natural voice.

In this way, Iberdrola España can apply accessibility best practices from the initial design stage and extend them consistently across the Iberdrola Group’s web ecosystem.
