Iberdrola España received the Strategic Partnership Award at the 23rd FEMEVAL Awards in recognition of its close partnership with the Valencian Regional Government, ASELEC and FEMEVAL during the cold drop that affected the Valencian Community and other areas of the country.

The company mobilised teams of electricians to attend to buildings and homes affected by the floods, to check and repair electrical connections and electrical panels.

The company also launched the il·lumina plan, with an investment of €100M to redesign the electricity grid affected by the cold drop, which will benefit more than 650,000 customers in the area.

The company is also supporting social initiatives for psychosocial support and mental health through the Iberdrola España Foundation, and working directly with the Provincial Council and municipalities on various reconstruction projects in the area affected.
