Iberdrola España, a great promoter of women's sport, has created the "Espacio Ídola" ("Ídola Speaces") to encourage sportswomen just over a month before the Paris event. In this way, Iberdrola España wants to celebrate and bring to society not only the successes, but also the path travelled and still to be travelled by our Spanish sportswomen.
Barcelona's Moll de la Fusta will host the first of these recreational spaces on Saturday 22 June, where there will be gifts, games and music, and where participants will have the chance to win a trip to Paris to attend the Games. Natalia Lacunza will be in charge of closing the sports day with a free concert at 9 p.m. until full capacity is reached.
As in Barcelona, the city of Santander will join this sports festival on 29 June with a new Espacios Ídola, this time located in Plaza Alfonso XIII, in a sports day which, like the previous one, will be held between 11am and 8pm. There will be a break between 2pm and 4pm, and on this occasion, the day will culminate with a concert by Belén Aguilera.
Iberdrola España, as strategic partner of the Spanish Olympic Committee and sponsor of the Spanish Paralympic team, wanted to bring sport closer to society in general and give the opportunity to live a unique experience living the best sport in the world.
A space in which to admire the achievements of our Ídolas (Idols), who will have great visibility in the Museum of the Spanish Olympic and Paralympic Committee, where you can find unique pieces of the most important sporting moments of the Iberdrola España ambassadors.
A climbing wall, a skatepark, 3x3 adapted football, a athletics track, reflexes measurement and photos with the sports Ídolas thanks to artificial intelligence are the tests that those over 8 years old will be able to enjoy to put themselves in the best Spanish sports women' shoes and take part in a draw for a trip to Paris this summer.
Through this recreational space, Iberdrola España aims to once again highlight the excellence of our Olympic sportswomen and bring to the streets the support that the Company has been giving to women's sport for years.
Iberdrola España currently supports 35 national sports federations, a support that benefits 800,000 women athletes. It also gives its name to 35 leagues, all of them of the highest category, as well as more than 100 competitions.
