Iberdrola | bp pulse has inaugurated the largest electric vehicle charging megahub in Spain, located in the Nevada Shopping centre in Armilla, Granada. The event was attended by the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Andalusian Regional Government, Jorge Paradela, the mayor of Armilla, Loli Cañavate, the president of General de Galerías Comerciales, Tomás Olivo López, and Pablo Pirles, general manager of Iberdrola | bp pulse, who highlighted the strategic importance of this infrastructure for the region.
The station, which is already in operation, is equipped with a total of 70 charging stations and is a comprehensive solution for all electric vehicle users. It has 8 ultra-fast 150 kW, 6 50 kW and 56 22 kW charging points. Its location at Nevada Shopping makes it a key communications node – close to the A-92 and the A-44 – and positions it as a hub for electric mobility to connect Granada, Seville, Jaen, Malaga, Almeria and Cordoba.
The megahub is part of the Nevada Shopping centre, the largest in the region. It receives around 20M visitors a year and offers a wide range of national and international brands in its more than 300 shops, as well as a wide variety of complementary services, recreational activities and restaurants. This location allows users to do business or enjoy their free time while charging their vehicle, offering a more convenient and efficient charging experience. It also has free Wi-Fi, accessible parking with 6,000 spaces and areas designed for people with reduced mobility.
