Driven by Iberdrola España, the photography exhibition "De toda la vida" fills Valladolid with nostalgia

The Paseo del Príncipe del Campo Grande in Valladolid will become an open-air gallery to host De toda la vida, a photography exhibition promoted by Iberdrola España and Cultura Inquieta to mark the electricity company's 125th anniversary in Spain. The exhibition, which can be visited until 25 October, invites visitors to rediscover those memories, places, traditions and everyday experiences that continue to form part of our personal and collective history.
 

This morning, the exhibition, which brings together a selection of 218 images accompanied by their corresponding texts, arising from the De toda la vida competition, was visited by the Councillor for Tourism, Events and City Brand of Valladolid City Council, Blanca Jiménez; the Councillor for the Environment, Alejandro García Pellitero; and the delegate of Iberdrola España in Castilla y León, Miguel Calvo, who toured an exhibition that celebrates everything that endures from generation to generation and continues to form part of our identity. An invitation to pause at those small things that, despite the passage of time, retain their power to move us and connect us with our roots.
 

The photographic selection brings together very different perspectives from more than one hundred different authors, united by a single idea: the need to return to that which reminds us of who we are and where we come from. Landscapes, portraits, domestic scenes, long-standing shops, objects steeped in history and small everyday gestures make up this collective exhibition, which transforms nostalgia into something tangible and shared.
 

The competition, held on Instagram under the hashtag #Detodalavida125, invited both amateur and professional photographers to share images accompanied by personal texts capable of contextualising what had been photographed. It was not only the image that mattered, but also the story behind it: the emotion, the memory or the invisible bond that turns certain places and objects into an essential part of our lives.
 

The competition jury assessed both the photographic quality of the images and the narrative sensitivity of each entry, recognising those photographs capable of constructing recognisable scenes and conveying emotions that go beyond individual experience.
 

For 125 years, Iberdrola España has accompanied the evolution of homes, cities and entire generations, illuminating spaces and moments that form part of our collective memory. With De toda la vida, that idea moves into the emotional and visual realm, building an archive of shared memories in which the everyday takes on a new dimension.
 

The Paseo del Príncipe del Campo Grande in Valladolid will become, for a few weeks, a journey through those memories, roots and everyday scenes that, beyond their origin, remind us of everything that endures.
