Cargadores ultrarrápidos en Alfafar Parc

Iberdrola España and Alfafar Parc are joining forces to promote sustainable mobility by setting up a charging infrastructure with capacity for 10 electric vehicles in the parking lot of the Alfafar business park.

The company has installed five 120 kW superfast charging units from the Valencian company Power Electronics, and to carry out the agreement, Iberdrola España has been responsible for providing the equipment, its installation and management and Alfafar Parc has provided the land for the car park where the chargers are located.

Alfafar town councilors Encarna Muñoz and Arcadio del Real, accompanied by Enrique Inglés, president of the Community of Owners of Alfafar Parc, visited the charging infrastructure, where they received explanations about its characteristics from Iberdrola España's commercial delegate in the Valencia region, Joaquin Longares, who was able to check how it works

It should be noted that users of these facilities will recharge the battery of their electric cars with 100% green energy, from renewable generation sources, with a guarantee of origin certificate (GdOs) and the charging points will be located in the Iberdrola Public Charging App, from which you can geolocate the charger, check its operation in real time and book and pay from your mobile phone.

For Joaquín Longares, "thanks to the collaboration with those responsible for the commercial park we set up 10 super-fast charging points in a strategic location, next to the V-31, to serve those electric vehicle users who have opted for a sustainable, emission-free mobility".

For his part, Enrique Inglés, stressed that the will to "contribute to meeting the challenges that arise when talking about sustainability and electric vehicles. That is why at Alfafar Parc we are strongly committed to promoting this facility, which could be a reference for the sustainable community and a key point for our customers who are switching to electric mobility".

Commitment to sustainable mobility

Iberdrola España exceeds 5,000 charging points in Spain and reinforces its position as the most extensive public charging network in Spain, after adding more than 200 chargers per month during 2023. To this figure should be added 3,000 more points under construction and an additional 2,000 awaiting administrative procedures.

The energy company's sustainable mobility plan envisages the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles on the country's main motorways and corridors, as well as in public access areas in cities and small towns in Spain, with the aim of setting up at least one fast charging station every 50 km or less, which will allow travel throughout the country in complete safety and autonomy.

Iberdrola Spain's network currently has the largest number of fast and ultra-fast charging points (points of more than 50 kW and up to 400kW) in Spain, with more than 1,500, distributed throughout the country. The fast stations allow most of the battery to be charged in 20 to 30 minutes, while in the ultra-fast stations, the time is reduced to between 5 and 10 minutes.

Alfafar Parc
