The signing ceremony, held at the Paiporta Town Hall, was attended by the town's mayor, Vicent Ciscar; the director of Fundación Iberdrola España, Ramón Castresana; the Institutional Delegate of Iberdrola in the Valencian Community, Iban Molina; the director of i-DE (Iberdrola España's energy distribution company) Eastern Region, Guillermo Raga; and the town’s Urban Planning councillor, Alejandro Sánchez, who had the opportunity to visit some of the areas that will benefit from this investment.

Ramón Castresana emphasised that this new aid package “is another demonstration of the Fundación's support for areas that were severely affected by the flooding.” He also reminded those present that, in addition to the various actions that will be carried out in Paiporta, similar agreements had been signed a few weeks earlier for the rehabilitation of the Agricultural Foremen’s School in Catarroja, as well as social programmes focused on mental health and psychosocial support, in collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross and the Betania Association.

On the other hand, Vicent Ciscar, the mayor of Paiporta, expressed his gratitude for the solidarity and assistance received, which makes it possible to carry out specific projects that directly benefit the well-being of the population: “Public-private collaboration is essential and always follows a guarantee procedure with agreements like the one we are signing today.
