Coria, Extremadura will have six new Iberdrola España electric vehicle charging points
- They will be operated by Iberdrola España, doubling the current offering

The town of Coria, Extremadura will have six new electric vehicle recharging points operated by Iberdrola España, in addition to the three already in town.
The electricity company has been awarded a tender from the City Council of Coria for the concession of three public spaces to install and operate charging points for electric vehicles, showing its commitment to sustainable mobility and the decarbonisation of transport.
The concession includes three strategic locations within the municipality: Avenida Monseñor Riberi, Avenida Sierra de Gata and Avenida Virgen de Argeme. Each location will have two parking spaces.
At each of these locations, Iberdrola España will install an Ingeteam ‘Rapid 60 duo’ charging point, which can simultaneously charge two vehicles thanks to its two hoses. These stations are easy to assembly and dismantle, take up minimal space and are easy to integrate aesthetically into the urban environment.
Each point will also have specific signage, impact protection elements (bollards) and a visible Coria City Council logo.
Iberdrola España will be fully responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and operation of the charging points, as well as for their dismantling at the end of the concession.
With this initiative, Iberdrola España continues to expand its charging infrastructure network in Extremadura, promoting cleaner and more accessible mobility for all with green power, like all the charging points in Iberdrola España's network.
These three new points form part of the largest recharging network in Spain, with more than 9,400 recharging points and all varieties of power, so electric cars can be used throughout Spain, including large cities, but also smaller towns, like Coria, and the roads that connect all these urban centres.
