Iberdrola España has opened a new customer service office in Zafra (Extremadura) to improve the services the energy company provides all its customers in the region, offering a personalised consultation point for both households and businesses.

The premises, located at Calle Santa Clara 10, were visited today by the mayor Juan Carlos Fernández Calderón to see the new facilities first-hand. The space was designed with accessibility and energy efficiency in mind and has two customer service desks which will improve the quality of customer service.

Iberdrola España's new customer service point in Zafra offers personalised recommendations on the electricity and gas plans that best suit each user's needs, as well as on new energy services, such as the solar communities that have been set up in the city.

Advice will also be offered on self-consumption, charging points for electric vehicles, air conditioning, aerothermal energy and energy rehabilitation, as well as services such as the Smart Assistant, which allows users to control and save on consumption.

Hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday mornings.

Three solar communities in Zafra for 500 families

The new solar communities installed in the Extremaduran city are among the star products information will be available for. They will benefit more than 500 families in the municipality, helping them save on their electricity bills through renewable self-consumption, without the need for their own installation or any investment.

In Zafra there are three Iberdrola España solar communities spread across the roofs of different businesses in the town, with 617 photovoltaic panels and a total power of more than 273 kW. Annual production will reach 420 MWh and, since the energy is renewably sourced, 84 tonnes of CO2 will not be released into the atmosphere.

With this self-consumption formula, any customer located within 2 km of the facility can sign up and use green, local energy, saving on their electricity bill.
