Iberdrola España has launched its traditional series of events in Valencia to recognise the company's longest-serving professionals. The Valencia region event brought together more than 100 employees who retired during the previous financial year or who have completed 25 or 40 years of service with the company.

Pedro Azagra, CEO of the Iberdrola Group, of which Iberdrola España is a part, attended the event and paid tribute to these professionals for their commitment, dedication and hard work over several decades. Their contribution has been instrumental in driving the company's growth, international expansion and consolidation as one of the world's leading energy companies.

Mario Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of Iberdrola España, also addressed the event. He highlighted the company's 125th anniversary celebrations and stressed that its greatest asset is the people who make up the Iberdrola family.

The honourees, who travelled from various locations across the provinces of Alicante, Castellón and Valencia, as well as from the Region of Murcia, Castilla-La Mancha and Catalonia, were also accompanied by José Sáenz de Argandoña, Iberdrola España's Human Resources Director; Guillermo Raga, Director of i-DE in the Eastern Region; Javier Sala, Director of CN Cofrentes; Julio Belinchón, Head of Human Resources at Iberdrola Clientes; and the company's Commercial and Institutional Representatives in the Valencia region, Joaquín Longares and Ibán Molina, respectively.

The professionals received a commemorative gift in recognition of their years of service to Iberdrola España. Employees who have completed 40 years with the company received a watch, while employees still in active service who reached 25 years in 2025 received a personalised commemorative plaque.

The company also plans to continue these employee recognition events next Wednesday in Bilbao, followed by events in Madrid and Valladolid in the coming weeks.
