Iberdrola España and Hyundai offer up to 10,000 kilometres of free charging with the purchase of an electric vehicle

Customers who purchase both a Hyundai electric vehicle and a home charging point from Iberdrola España will receive free charging for up to 10,000 kilometres.
For charging away from home, the agreement also includes six months of free access to Iberdrola España's Charging+ Plan, which offers a 20% discount at the company's public charging stations.

Iberdrola España and Hyundai have signed an agreement to offer new benefits to customers purchasing the South Korean manufacturer's electric vehicles in Spain, making the transition to electric mobility simpler and more efficient. The new offering combines home charging infrastructure, digital services and financial incentives.

Specifically, customers who purchase a Hyundai electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle and choose the promotion that includes a free home charging point installation from Iberdrola España, while activating the Smart Charging Plan, will receive enough free home charging to drive up to 10,000 kilometres over the course of one year.

In addition, to support drivers on longer journeys away from home, the agreement includes six months of free access to Iberdrola España's Charging+ Plan, which provides a 20% discount at participating public charging stations available through the energy company's mobility app.

The Iberdrola Mobility app, which has more than 550,000 users, is the highest-rated app in the sector and offers features designed to meet all users' mobility needs in one place.

The partnership between the two companies dates to 2024, when Hyundai began offering customers free installation of a home charging point through Iberdrola España under its Plugged In Plan, which includes a three-year warranty and 24/7 assistance.

The "Charger Included with Iberdrola" promotion forms part of the agreements developed by the two companies to accelerate the electrification of transport in Spain and provide customers with integrated solutions that bring together the vehicle, energy supply and charging within a single service ecosystem.
