The joint venture Iberdrola | bp pulse surpasses 2,500 charging points across the Iberian Peninsula following a record rollout in 2026

Around 70% of the operational charging points are ultra-fast, with power outputs ranging from 150 to 600 kW.
The company remains committed to electrifying heavy-duty transport, with more than 100 charging points compatible with this type of vehicle across the peninsula.
So far in 2026, the company has helped avoid more than 15,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions — an environmental impact equivalent to the absorption capacity of around 1,500 hectares of forest, more than 12 times the size of Madrid’s Retiro Park.

In Spain, Andalusia has the highest number of charging points, with nearly 400, followed by the Valencian Community and the Community of Madrid, with around 300 each.

Iberdrola | bp pulse has surpassed 2,500 operational charging points across the Iberian Peninsula, reaching a new milestone that reinforces its leadership in the deployment of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Spain and Portugal. This achievement strengthens the company’s position as a key player in the electrification of transport and reflects its commitment to developing an increasingly extensive and reliable network capable of supporting the rapid growth of electric mobility in both markets.

Iberdrola | bp pulse currently operates more than 2,000 charging points in Spain and almost 500 in Portugal, distributed across all Spanish autonomous communities and the country’s main Portuguese regions. This extensive network enables the company to meet user demand in urban areas, along intercity routes and at logistics hubs. In Spain, Andalusia has the highest number of charging points, with nearly 400, followed by the Valencian Community and the Community of Madrid, with around 300 each.
