Iberdrola España opens a customer service centre in Tomelloso to strengthen its local presence

The Mayor of Tomelloso, Javier Navarro Muelas, attended the inauguration of the new centre, which will provide personalised advice on electricity, gas, energy efficiency, geothermal energy, self-consumption and electric mobility.
As part of its commitment to the local community, Iberdrola España aims to roll out its solar community model in Tomelloso, enabling participating residents to save up to 30% on their electricity bills.

Iberdrola España has reopened a Customer Service Point in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real) with the aim of continuing to bring its services closer to customers in the town and surrounding area, while strengthening personalised support for households, businesses and self-employed professionals.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Tomelloso, Javier Navarro Muelas, together with representatives from Iberdrola España, including the company’s delegate in Castilla-La Mancha, Óscar Narros; the head of Residential and Business for Iberdrola España in Castilla-La Mancha, José María Villalba; and the manager of the service centre, Laura Paraíso, manager of Lorenzo Energías and a resident of Tomelloso.

For Iberdrola España, the new customer service centre underlines the importance of maintaining a local presence to respond to enquiries, handle administrative procedures and provide energy advice tailored to each customer’s needs.

Among Iberdrola España’s objectives in Tomelloso is the implementation of one of the company’s solar community models, a scheme that brings renewable energy to homes, SMEs and businesses without requiring them to install their own systems on their rooftops. This model enables savings of up to 30% on electricity bills through the consumption of locally generated solar energy and reduced dependence on electricity from the grid. In addition, users can participate as “solar neighbours” provided they are located within the authorised radius of up to five kilometres from the installation where the solar panels are located.

Iberdrola España has a total of 14 customer service points in the province of Ciudad Real, including the Tomelloso office. The centre is located at Calle Nueva, number 6, and is open during standard business hours.

This new Customer Service Centre will enable residents and businesses in Tomelloso to carry out routine procedures such as opening or closing accounts, modifying contracts, making billing enquiries, reviewing contracted services or requesting information on renewable energy solutions. In addition, the centre will provide advice on innovative and efficient solutions for homes and businesses.

Among the services available, Iberdrola España will provide information on the company’s electricity, gas and complementary products, as well as on air-conditioning systems, geothermal and aerothermal energy, energy retrofitting, self-consumption, the installation of electric vehicle charging points and digital tools designed to monitor and reduce energy consumption.

With this opening, Iberdrola España reinforces its commitment to delivering a more personalised, accessible and high-quality service, based on tailored support and solutions that contribute to energy savings, efficiency and environmental sustainability.

More than 650 customer service points across Spain and Castilla-La Mancha

Iberdrola España has more than 650 customer service points throughout Spain, including 45 offices in Castilla-La Mancha: 11 in Albacete, 13 in Toledo, 6 in Guadalajara, 5 in Cuenca and 11 in Ciudad Real. The primary objective of these offices is to remain close to customers and respond to their needs at all times by providing a personalised, high-quality service.

In addition, Iberdrola España offers customers a dedicated website where they can check opening hours and contact details, as well as book appointments at the date and time that best suits their needs.
