Iberdrola Group presents its Global Supplier of the Year Awards to two Spanish companies in Bilbao
The Iberdrola Group recognised companies for their commitment, innovation and sustainability, which advance electrification and industrial development, create jobs and increase competitiveness
The company has given explicit recognition to around twenty suppliers of Iberdrola España, with whom they worked on restoring the electricity supply after the cold drop in Valencia
Pedro Azagra (Global CEO of Iberdrola Group), Mario Ruiz-Tagle (CEO of Iberdrola España) and other company executives alongside the winners of the Global Supplier of the Year Awards.
The Iberdrola Group, of which Iberdrola España is a part, held a ceremony at its corporate headquarters in Bilbao – the Iberdrola Tower – for its Global Supplier of the Year Awards this year, attended by the company's partners in countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Croatia, Korea and the Netherlands, bringing together more than 100 collaborating companies, divided into six categories.
In line with the Group's commitment to achieving a more efficient and resilient energy system, the Spanish company Electrotécnica Arteche Hermanos won the Global Supplier of the Year Award 2025 in the Innovation category.
As part of the Iberdrola Group's commitment to industrial development and job creation, the Spanish suppliers awarded were Grupo de Arquitectura y Obra Civil SL - GAROC, in the Best Works and Services Supplier category.
Pedro Azagra, Global CEO of Iberdrola, and Mario Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of Iberdrola España, participated in the awards ceremony.
Additionally, Iberdrola España has given explicit recognition, during these awards, to around twenty suppliers who worked alongside the company in restoring the electricity supply after the cold drop in Valencia.
