Fundación Iberdrola España and the San Millán de la Cogolla Foundation renew partnership to restore part of the Yuso Monastery Library collection

  • Six books dating from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries will undergo restoration work due to their fragile condition and urgent conservation needs. The selected works include Divinum ac proinde inestimabile…, one of the best-known texts by theologian and Dominican friar Sancho Porta; Tractatus de sphera, linked to the disciplines of the Quadrivium and written by Johannes de Sacrobosco, a 13th-century professor at the University of Paris; and a 1706 edition of Don Quixote
  • Fundación Iberdrola España has supported the restoration of the monastery library’s documentary collections since 2012
