Iberdrola España, through its foundation, is supporting the National Archaeological Museum in the restoration of 187 Roman glass artefacts

  • The restoration project involves structural stabilisation, volumetric reintegration, specialist cleaning, surface consolidation and scientific analysis of materials.
  • With this initiative the Iberdrola España Foundation reaffirms its commitment to the protection and promotion of historical heritage, in line with its programme to support the conservation of cultural assets in museums and specialist centres across the country.
  • This agreement forms part of the many initiatives marking the 125th anniversary of the Iberdrola Group, of which Iberdrola España is a member, aimed at bringing its legacy closer to society as a whole.

The project will enable the recovery of artefacts of great archaeological, historical and artistic value, dating from the 1st to the 4th centuries AD, which are notable for their variety of techniques and uses.
