Iberdrola España strengthens its in-person customer service in Plasencia with a new office in the city centre
- The company is opening a second customer service centre to offer a more local and accessible service to the people of Plasencia
- The new premises, located on Calle Talavera, cover around 70 square metres and feature Iberdrola’s new corporate identity

Iberdrola España has strengthened its in-person customer service in Plasencia with the opening of a new office in a central and prominent part of the city, with the aim of bringing its services closer to the public and providing more direct and personalised customer service.
The new customer service centre is situated at 25 Talavera Street and complements the office the company already operates at 100 Sor Valentina Mirón Street. As a result, Iberdrola España now has two in-person customer service centres in Plasencia, expanding its presence in the town and making it easier for people to access its services from different parts of the city and the north of the province.
The new premises cover an area of approximately 70 square metres and have been fitted out with a space designed to offer a friendly and personalised service.
Customers will be able to receive advice on traditional electricity and gas products, as well as find out about the various energy solutions that Iberdrola España offers to households and businesses. These include self-consumption solutions, geothermal heating and charging points for electric vehicles, with information and advice tailored to each customer’s needs.
The mayor of Plasencia, David Dóniga, visited the new premises today, where he was able to see how this second Iberdrola España customer service centre in the city operates and the services it provides.
During the visit, the mayor emphasised that “the opening of this second customer service centre right in the heart of the city is wonderful news for the people of Plasencia and for all residents in the north of the province who come to Plasencia to carry out their administrative tasks. We are grateful for Iberdrola’s commitment to our city, both for strengthening face-to-face, local support for our citizens and for continuing to promote sustainability and energy efficiency projects that contribute to Plasencia’s development”.
For his part, Alberto Benito, head of residential and SME sales for Iberdrola España in Extremadura, agreed that “with this new office, we are strengthening our close relationship with customers in Plasencia and the north of the province, facilitating personalised service and advice, and raising awareness of the energy solutions best suited to the needs of the people of Plasencia”.
Benito emphasised that “the opening of this second service centre reflects Iberdrola España’s commitment to maintaining a direct relationship with its customers and supporting them in the transition towards increasingly efficient and sustainable solutions, such as self-consumption, geothermal energy and electric mobility”.
Three solar communities in Plasencia
Iberdrola España's commitment to bringing new energy solutions to the public is also particularly evident in its solar communities. Plasencia currently has three solar communities managed by Iberdrola España, installed on the roofs of three local businesses. Together, they have an installed capacity of 250.24 kWp, distributed across installations of 93.40 kWp, 45.54 kWp and 111.30 kWp.
The initiative has been very well received in Plasencia, so Iberdrola España is set to expand its range of solar communities in the city, with two new ones due to be launched shortly, enabling a greater number of families and businesses to access this self-consumption model.
